King of ING

This week one of our learning targets is:

I can read and write words that end with -ing.

Today students became Kings of ING and made crowns and wrote words that end with -ing.

We started the morning with a funny little video to introduce -ing.

We then made our crowns and wrote many different "-ing" words.

They were then asked to be word dectectives and find "-ing" words in books.  They were engaged all morning and made me smile how cute they were!  We had a great day!
