The Daily 5

The Daily 5 is a series of literacy tasks which students complete daily while the teacher pulls small reading groups.  The Daily 5 is a structure that will help students develop the daily habits of reading, writing and working with peers.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Families,

Hope you had a great weekend!  It was so wonderful to see everyone last Tuesday at Open House!  Thank you for coming and touring our classroom.  Also, thank you for all your support getting your first grader organized and into our routine.  The kids are doing great and almost all nightly homework is being returned and the Spelling test went awesome on Friday! What a great start to our year!
