Dear First Grade Friend and Families,
I
am extremely excited to be your teacher this year! WOW! Can you believe how
fast the summer has gone and that you will be in first grade? In my opinion
first grade is the BEST! We will be
learning about my most favorite subject in the universe, the moon! We will also explore being a
part of communities, observe owls and mealworms, and read a ton of great books!
Aren’t you excited now? We have many adventures ahead and I know our year will
be filled with lots of fun!
You
might be wondering what my name is now… remember on “Meet your Teacher day,” I
shared that silly secret that my name was going to change because I was getting
married? Well, I am officially MRS. FARNES!
I
have been waiting all summer to see you again! I have so much to share with you
and I can’t wait to hear all about your summer vacations! I love pictures so please feel free to bring
a picture to share with our class of something you did over the summer! Tell
your families, Mrs. Farnes says, “Hello,” and that I am looking forward to
getting to know all of you!
